Philosophy
The Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Ministries Bible College has been established to provide Christian education and training for Indigenous people who want to learn more of God and His ways and share the gospel with their countrymen.

The College centres its program on the Bible teaching that mankind was created by God but has lost the friendship with God through sin. The ultimate aim of Christian education is to restore that friendship through Jesus; thus every student is a child of God and education is the foundation for this life and for eternity.

The development of character and personality based on a love for God, unselfish concern for others and personal self-respect is basic to all College activities. This environment seeks to allow each student the opportunity to develop his/her potential as a person through:
• establishing and strengthening a real friendship with God
• learning how to put Bible principles into practice in our own personal lives
• developing an understanding and acceptance of ourselves, realising how much God values each one
• fostering an unselfish viewpoint that values people of other cultures, class, age, religions, and personality and tries to understand and accept them.
• developing a motivation and an ability to master circumstances rather than letting circumstances master them.
• learning how the natural world can help our spiritual, mental, artistic, social and physical growth while at the same time recognizing a responsibility for managing and protecting the resources and beauties in our world.
